Internship Program
At Five9 we are committed to providing an exceptional experience for our interns. We tailor our program to provide participants with real, impactful work, contributing directly to the continued success of Five9. Through our Speaker Series, Intern Buddies, Employee Resource Groups, and other events, you’ll have the opportunity to meet and learn from some of the best in the business.
This is a full-time, paid internship based out of our headquarters in San Ramon, CA. The program runs 11 weeks with the opportunity to start in early or mid-June.

About the Team:
The Strategy & Operations team at Five9 Include Corporate Development, IT, Security, and Facilities. The Corporate Development team is responsible for inorganic growth initiatives including acquisitions. Five9's Corporate Development Analyst Intern will gain hands-on experience understanding Five9's history of acquisitions as well as future growth initiatives, acquisition strategy, execution, and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct competitive analysis, industry research, and financial modeling to support Five9’s corporate development initiatives.
- Assist in analyzing competitive landscapes and providing data-driven insights to inform acquisition strategy and execution.
- Organize and facilitate stakeholder meetings, supporting cross-functional collaboration on strategic projects.
- Reporting to the SVP Corporate Development & Ventures, and gaining hands-on experience in buyer-led inorganic growth, acquisition integration, and high-level corporate decision-making
- A key focus will be aggregating an integration playbook for Five9, providing valuable insights + structure for future acquisitions, and presenting the playbook during our Intern Showcase.
Key Qualifications:
- Rising college senior or above, pursuing an undergrad degree in Finance or Economics.
- Must be able to work out of the San Ramon, CA headquarters this summer.
- Critical thinking, attention to detail, communication skills, and analytical skills will be the hallmarks of a successful candidate.
This is a full-time, paid internship based out of our headquarters in San Ramon, CA. The program runs 11 weeks with the opportunity to start in late Mid or Late June. This role is hybrid. 3 days a week (M, W, TH) in office is required.
