The Tender & Key Account Manager is responsible for driving Sanofi's growth in the tender business and key accounts for both Pharma and Vaccines in Singapore. This role will develop strategic customer relationships, oversee tender processes, and enhance key account management to capitalize on current and future opportunities in the Singapore market.

Tender Management:

  • Oversee end-to-end tender processes including planning, approvals, submission, logistics, and post-award follow-up for both Pharma and Vaccines.

  • Conduct pre-tender coordination, ensuring product availability, securing price approvals, and preparing competitive offers.

  • Engage with the Internal tender committee on pricing and other requirements.

  • Review and manage post-award processes, including LOA contract signing and administrative requirements.

Key Account Management:

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key hospital accounts and external stakeholders, including SG tender issuers and the national tender committee.

  • Enhance key account strategies and execution for both Pharma and Vaccines in the region.

  • Conduct regular field visits to assigned accounts and institutions to foster engagement and identify new business opportunities.

Strategic Oversight and Business Development:

  • Provide on-ground presence to navigate local challenges and gain real-time market insights.

  • Address key issues such as ALPS central warehousing plans, stock utilization, and ACE discussions on product listings.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the tender segment for both Pharma and Vaccines.

  • Prepare for future launches, including RSV and Flu HD introduction

Cross-functional Coordination:

  • Serve as a key liaison with internal teams (supply chain, finance, credit, etc.) to streamline processes.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand account-specific dynamics and optimize tender outcomes.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Provide regular sales reports and analyses to the head of tender business and commercial heads.

  • Track competitors' activities for internal tender committee decisions.

  • Ensure data accuracy and insight availability to support achievement of sales objectives.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

  • Follow company HSE guidelines and ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

  • Actively participate in HSE programs and support relevant training schedules.

About you

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree with a pharmaceutical background preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales or commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Experience in both Pharma and Vaccines sectors is highly desirable.

  • Advanced Excel and project management skills.

  • Strong business acumen, communication, and presentation abilities.

  • Proven time management and negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency in English.

  • Strategic thinking and ability to translate insights into actionable plans.

  • In-depth understanding of the Singapore healthcare market and tender processes.

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office; understanding of the contracting process.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Sanofi's diverse portfolio, including both Pharma and Vaccines.
