General Information:

Your Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of an HR talent management project during the term.
  • Analyze, create business cases, and recommend next steps for talent management related initiatives including performance management and succession planning. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline existing processes and procedures based on customer feedback and experience.
  • Present findings to groups of key stakeholders leveraging strong influencing skills and being open to receive feedback.
  • Provide high quality HR support to internal customers (the HR community, business unit leaders and employees) with accurate and timely processing of information.
  • Coordinate various HR programs and perform administrative tasks related to various departments.

Your Background:

  • Student in Human Resources (3rd year).
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and diverse employee groups.
  • Collaborate with a solution-oriented attitude.
  • Strong communication skills in English.  French written and verbal skills will be considered an asset.
  • Highly organized with the ability to coordinate multiple projects with tight deadlines. 
  • Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of HR talent management methodologies and practices.
