Your Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of an HR talent management project during the term.
- Analyze, create business cases, and recommend next steps for talent management related initiatives including performance management and succession planning.
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline existing processes and procedures based on customer feedback and experience.
- Present findings to groups of key stakeholders leveraging strong influencing skills and being open to receive feedback.
- Provide high quality HR support to internal customers (the HR community, business unit leaders and employees) with accurate and timely processing of information.
- Coordinate various HR programs and perform administrative tasks related to various departments.

Your Background:
- Student in Human Resources (3rd year).
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and diverse employee groups.
- Collaborate with a solution-oriented attitude.
- Strong communication skills in English. French written and verbal skills will be considered an asset.
- Highly organized with the ability to coordinate multiple projects with tight deadlines.

- Knowledge of HR talent management methodologies and practices.
