The Role
In this role, you will work closely with customers to configure and implement advanced applications across power grids to deliver the advanced generation management functions of DGM’s control systems and provide ongoing customer support to ensure reliable performance and world-class customer satisfaction.Your Impact
- Interact with customers and engineering team members to understand requirements and project plans. You’ll support the design, integration, testing, and commissioning of our advanced control systems for electric utilities. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to communicate detailed requirements. Assist in creating project and product documentation as needed.
- Perform unit testing and tuning to ensure power system applications will meet customer and industry requirements. Support the efforts of customer training and consult on power system modeling to ensure the effective use and maintenance of a customer’s power system applications. Assist in creating training materials and project documentation as needed.
- Support live customer systems using knowledge of power systems and DGM application functionality with clear, logical thought processes.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and a minimum of two (2) years of power systems engineering related work experience required.
- Ability to travel up to 10% (domestic and international)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Superior organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to multi-task on several projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment. Strong commitment to providing superior customer service.
