At BASF plc's Widnes site, our Centre of Excellence for Pest Control, we take pride in manufacturing and packing high-quality rodenticides. The site was acquired from Sorex Limited at the end of 2008. The new business, launched in 2009, combined the renowned technical expertise, products, and skills of both BASF and Sorex, creating a powerhouse in pest control solutions.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Business Support Officer to support our site operations and purchasing activities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively across departments. In this role you will:

• Maintain site access and ensure working areas meet company standards; manage goods in/out processes to optimise warehouse resources.
• Raise and manage stock and non-stock orders, ensuring timely delivery and correct budget coding.
• Approve invoices from goods receipt to payment and ensure accurate transport labelling for outgoing orders.
• Identify and raise non-conformances, ensuring adherence to BASF guidelines.
• Provide cross-departmental administrative assistance as needed to support operational efficiency.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• GCSEs Grade C and above or a business qualification.
• Experience working effectively as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and networking skills.
• Well-organised with excellent attention to detail.
