About the role

Support Exolum Immingham Operations in the accurate and efficient receipt and dispatch of all products within the terminal.

Ensure compliance with all Company and legislative requirements on safety and environmental aspects, whilst maintaining an efficient operational terminal.

Key responsibilities

• To optimise all operations involved in product storage and handling
• To ensure that operational records where required are accurately maintained
• To assist in the development and review of standard operating procedures, as required
• To fulfil any role, within the Operations Department, for which appropriate training has been given
• To ensure that any work undertaken is carried out to the standards required by the Terminal’s management
• To liaise with all outside agencies, if necessary, on all relevant matters associated to product storage and handling
• To ensure that housekeeping standards are maintained
• To communicate effectively with appropriate personnel to ensure the efficient performance of the Operations Department

About you

The successful candidate will possess a good standard of education, including 5 GCSEs at grades A–C or equivalent, and have at least one year of relevant work experience. They will demonstrate excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, proactive, and show strong accuracy and problem-solving abilities. A proven self-starter, they will be adaptable to change, exercise good judgment, and maintain a calm manner under pressure. Flexibility is essential, as the role may require ad hoc work patterns and occasional work at other locations. Additionally, industry experience in aspects of a fuel terminal would be highly desirable.
