Essential Job Functions Paraprofessionals are responsible for helping students with academic difficulties. They may work one-on-one or in small groups to provide instruction, encouragement, and support for students. The paraprofessional will work within the regular education classroom. The Paraprofessional will work under the supervision of the Special Education teacher and will can also receive on-the-job training from the teacher(s).

Communication Requirements
Ability to report work orally or in writing to supervisor as required.
Effective writing and communication skills.
Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards Works in standard office and school building environments.
Qualifications Profile
High School diploma or equivalent..
Prior experience working with children desirable.
Schedule Position is for 8 hours each day, Monday-Thursday.
Wages Wages are based on the current Salary Scale available on www.pvsd50.org under the Financial Transparency tab. Wage starts at $15.56/hr.
