JOB PURPOSE:
The Accounting Analyst supports financial operations by performing various tasks related to cashiering, reconciliation, financial aid, and accounting processes. This position ensures compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations while delivering excellent customer service. The Accounting Analyst works closely with students, faculty, staff, and external entities to maintain accurate financial records, support financial reporting, and assist with routine and non-routine tasks in the Accounting and Cashiering teams.

NATURE AND SCOPE:
The Accounting Analyst supports financial operations by managing cashiering, reconciliation, financial aid transactions, and accounting processes. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations while maintaining accurate financial records and providing high-quality customer service. The scope of the position includes reconciling financial records, supporting financial reporting, and collaborating with students, faculty, staff, and external entities. The Accounting Analyst analyzes financial data, resolves discrepancies, and assists in developing efficient processes for the Accounting and Cashiering teams. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Accounting Analyst contributes to the institution’s financial integrity and operational efficiency by ensuring accurate financial transactions and regulatory compliance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. At least five years of progressive accounting-related experience, including reconciliation responsibilities or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Expected Salary Range: $55,000 - $62,000
