Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support physical and virtual infrastructure across multiple data centers supporting ultra-low latency trading systems.
- Design and implement infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Python scripting.
- Maintain and optimize systems for high availability, low latency, and fault tolerance.
- Collaborate with network, systems, and trading technology teams to ensure seamless platform operations.
- Perform capacity planning, monitoring, and performance tuning across production and disaster recovery environments.
- Develop monitoring and alerting solutions using tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
- Support change management and documentation best practices.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Center, Systems, or Infrastructure Engineer.
- Strong automation skills with Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) environments.
- Understanding of low-latency networking, colocation facilities, and capital markets infrastructure.
- Familiarity with virtualization and containerization (VMware, KVM, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in production environments.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Experience in electronic trading infrastructure or market connectivity environments.
- Understanding of FIX, multicast, and financial exchange protocols.
- Experience managing infrastructure in colocation facilities such as Equinix or NY4/CH4.
- Exposure to DevOps pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
