Position Overview

The Sales Business Analyst plays a critical role in helping our sales organization operate efficiently, make data-driven decisions, and achieve revenue goals. This role is responsible for analyzing sales performance, customer pipeline trends, and Salesforce CRM data to identify opportunities, measure progress, and support strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of sales processes and CRM best practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Extract, clean, and analyze sales performance data from Salesforce and other sources.
  • Track key metrics such as pipeline health, win/loss trends, conversion rates, and customer acquisition.
  • Identify sales patterns, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor pipeline progression to ensure alignment with revenue targets.
  • Support sales leadership with accurate, timely forecasting models and scenario planning.
  • Provide insights into account health, deal velocity, and sales rep productivity.
  • Design and maintain sales dashboards and performance reports in Salesforce and/or BI tools.
  • Deliver regular and ad hoc reports for leadership, sales managers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Evaluate current sales processes and recommend data-driven improvements.
  • Partner with sales enablement to ensure CRM adoption, accuracy, and best practices.
  • Support initiatives to improve lead management, territory planning, and account segmentation.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to align on business goals.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, actionable format.


Requirements

  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Analytics, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a sales analyst, business analyst, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM; experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboard creation preferred.
  • Strong skills in Excel Sheets and data visualization tools desired, specifically Power BI.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
