About the Department

The successful candidate will provide skilled clerical services required to ensure proper documentation and preparation of all 17th Judicial Circuit Personal Protection Orders. Duties will include assisting the petitioning party with processing extensions, violations and assists restrained parties with the processing of making objections. Other responsibilities will include scheduling hearings; preparing LEIN; document preparation; and assisting with a variety of court related issues either by phone or email.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:
High School Diploma or GED combined with post-secondary training in legal or court procedures.
or
Two (2) years para-professional experience in a legal environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Requires skill in filing, maintaining office records and operating various office equipment.  Must be self-motivated, organized, detail oriented and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse populations are essential.
