Role Overview

AMDT is looking for an experienced C# Developer who will contribute to the modernization of our core product, Octoplant, by bringing a high level of expertise in C# development and application security. This role is critical in ensuring that our product remains competitive and meets the needs of our customers. By working collaboratively with agile development teams, the C# Developer will help drive the success of our product and support the overall strategy of AMDT.

Your Tasks

The C# Developer will play a critical role in the modernization of our core product, Octoplant. Working closely with multiple agile development teams, this individual will be responsible for designing and implementing Rest APIs, conducting automatic API testing, and ensuring application security. The ideal candidate will have a strong computer science background and at least 5 years of experience working with .Net/C#, including entity framework.

Your Profile

  • A degree in Computer Science or comparable
  • At least 5 years of working experience with .Net/C#, including entity framework
  • Experience with Rest APIs design and implementation
  • Automated API Testing
  • Experience working with agile methods (E.g. SCRUM, Kanban)
  • Application Security basics (E.g. OWASP top 10)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required, German language skills are a plus.

  • Relational DB (PostgreSQL), data modeling and SQL
  • CI/CD (E.g. GitLab actions)
  • gRPC
  • Docker, K8s
  • uServices architecture
  • UI Test Automation (Eg. Playwright)
