Seasonal Customer Service Representative - Goode Company Restaurants

Job Type: Seasonal, Full-Time (In-Person)
 Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Seasonal Customer Service Representative in our eCommerce call center. In this role, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, assisting with order placements over the phone, and providing excellent service to both individual and business clients. You will also help manage holiday gifting orders for corporate clients by processing customer or employee gift lists. Strong communication, computer skills, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. This position is temporary and does not extend past the first week of January.


 Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming customer phone calls and provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service.
  • Assist customers with placing orders over the phone.
  • Address inquiries about products, orders, and shipping details.
  • Work with business clients to manage holiday gifting orders, ensuring all details are accurate and gifts are sent to the correct recipients.
  • Use Microsoft Outlook for email communication and coordination.
  • Help manage customer gift lists using Microsoft Excel.
  • Engage in live chat sessions to assist customers with questions or order-related issues.
  • Ensure accurate and timely order processing.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, aiming to resolve them effectively.
  • Potentially work with VIP customers, custom lids, lid inserts, printing orders, or other unique parts of the holiday business. 


Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous customer service experience (1+ years preferred). Need the ability to handle any customer concerns and resolve them effectively.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel, basic computer skills, including saving and retrieving files, and a familiarity with typing and chat communication.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
 Some experience in a call center environment is a plus.
