Location Requirements: Software Engineers will be required to work out of our major hub locations (Seattle, Scottsdale, Atlanta & Boston).

Profile Description: 

Software engineers at Axon ship and steward the systems behind our customer-facing SaaS and our internal platform. You’ll take features from idea to launch with Product and Design, review PRs and shape service designs, and own services in production—keeping them healthy and improving over time. Along the way, you’ll both mentor others and learn from peers.

Our roles are based in our R&D hubs: Seattle, Phoenix, Atlanta, and Boston, with minimal travel. We are hiring senior talent - you are someone who turns ambiguous requirements into clear plans, anticipates and mitigates future implementation risks (e.g., leaky abstractions or poorly designed UI), and fixes design flaws by removing single points of failure. You’ve shipped production features in at least one object-oriented language for enterprise SaaS, or built low-level/embedded systems for consumer devices; you collaborate well across teams and can support and improve in-market products.

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 141,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 225,600 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
