Sr. Manager, Integrated Marketing

The Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing, reporting to the Senior Director, Integrated Marketing, will serve as a key driver of JCPenney’s brand and marketing campaigns, acting as the connection between strategy, creative, media, and execution teams. This role partners closely with internal cross functional partners, owned channel teams, and agency partners to bring 360 integrated campaigns to life, ensuring alignment across the Integrated Agency Team (IAT) and delivering cohesive, compelling customer experiences.

You will translate brand strategy into actionable marketing plans, activate thinking across owned, earned, and paid channels, oversee the development of creative briefs, manage campaign timelines, and ensure flawless execution across media, social, PR, in store, and digital channels.


 

Responsibilities:

 

Campaign Strategy & Planning
•    Partner with Senior Director to develop and lead integrated marketing strategies that bring JCPenney’s brand platform to life across all customer touchpoints.
•    Translate brand priorities into campaign briefs that guide creative, media, and activation plans.
•    Collaborate with the Integrated Agency Team, owned channel teams, and cross functional partners to define campaign objectives, messaging, and channel strategy.
•    Bring strategic thought partnership into annual and quarterly planning sessions.

 

Briefing & Content Development
•    Manage the end-to-end briefing process, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely delivery.
•    Partner with creative, production, and channel teams and agencies, to produce high quality, on brand assets across traditional and digital media.
•    Attend and support photo shoots as needed to ensure creative alignment and brand consistency; occasional travel required.
•    Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all channels.
•    Develop Integrated Marketing Presentations, taking the lead on building a cohesive story and guiding the teams towards an on-brand narrative.

 

Cross Functional & Organizational Leadership
•    Partner across the organization with marketing, corporate communications, stores, digital, finance, and other key departments to align campaign execution.
•    Champion integration across paid, earned, and owned channels to deliver a unified customer experience.
•    Foster strong relationships with internal teams, owned channel leads, and external agency partners, ensuring collaboration and accountability.
•    Exercise strong decision-making skills, leading teams towards action, breaking down barriers, and driving towards streamlined workflows and increased communications.
•    High-Quality executive presence required, as each campaign will need presentations for C-level and potential celebrity talent touchpoints.

 

Project & Budget Management
•    Oversee campaign timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficient execution.
•    Track and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights for optimization.
•    Support budget planning, invoice processing, and vendor management as needed.

 

Performance Measurement & Insights
•    Partner with analytics teams to measure campaign effectiveness and report on key metrics.
•    Apply insights to refine future campaigns and improve ROI.
•    Keen ability to decipher data and understand how to take information and distill into insights and then lead large teams into actioning them in a swift and timely manner.

 

Qualifications:

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

•    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
•    7+ years of experience in integrated marketing, brand strategy, or related field, preferably in retail or consumer goods.
•    Proven track record of developing and executing cross channel campaigns that drive results.
•    Strong understanding of media planning, creative development, and retail marketing cycles.
•    Exceptional project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience influencing and collaborating across diverse teams. 
•    Ability to drive towards decisions, especially in large teams.
•    Executive presence required.
•    Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
•    Willingness to travel as needed to attend photo shoots or campaign activations.

Pay Range:USD $100,000.00 - USD $157,500.00 /Yr.
