FUNCTION: Operations

LOCATION: RJR Reynolds, Tobaccoville, NC

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Test and verify quality control devices.
• Support quality and production team with quality control device issues
• Occasionally work from various OEM/vendor provided schematics.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control devices
• Support documentation requirements for out to vendor (OTV)
• Use test equipment common to the discipline.
• Be aware of the Company environment, health & safety policies and comply with the objectives as it relates to the role.
• Participate in EHS programs as required by assigned site/role (e.g. PULSAR safety observation program, Safety Triggers)
• Walking, climbing, stooping, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Complete EHS-required training and follow operational procedures

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Basic mathematical skills with knowledge of metric and standard tools and conversions. Use of precision measuring devices.
• Attention to detail, proactivity and effective follow–through.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Applied Math: Level 4, Workplace Documents: Level 4, Graphic Literacy: Level 4, Workplace Observation: Level 2

BENEFICIAL

• Prefer 3 years industrial experience.
• Knowledge of and experience with SAP/TaO.
• Experience with tobacco packaging and processing equipment.  
• Industrial Vehicle Operation experience
• A.A.S. in Electronics Engineering Technology or A.A.S. in Instrument and Control Automation Technology or A.A.S degree in a related field or military equivalent

• Bonus Target: 7% percent
