Job Description
Summary/Objective
Provide Aircraft Systems/operational procedures instruction in aircraft/ classroom/ simulator and/or practical environments. Assist as Subject Matter Expert in development of curriculum for new type courses as required. May provide additional special services such as courseware review and other additional administrative duties such as publications, safety, quality audits, FCIF, scheduling, and other duties as maybe assigned, etc.

Competencies
Required skills and abilities to effectively perform this position include, but are not limited to:
Education and Experience
Previously qualified as an Instructor Loadmaster with a minimum of 200 hours; or two years of C-5 Instructor Loadmaster experience. Will possess a minimum of an associate’s degree from a regionally accredited college as outlined in AFI 36-2304.
Work Environment, Programs, and Tools
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, electrical shock, moving parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. Experienced and proficient in the use of standard Personal Computer productivity software tools including word processors, spreadsheets, presentation graphics, project management, and databases.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position will be on site at Keesler AFB, MS and will require adherence to the Government site hours of operation. This position is a full-time hourly non-exempt position, expected to work 40 hours a payroll period. This position may require evening/weekend work and work outside of the Government site hours of operations when Program support is needed. The ability to work overtime is required. The employee is occasionally required to work holidays, weekends and odd shifts.
Travel
Must be willing and able to travel. Domestic and International travel may be required.
Security Clearance
DoD Secret Clearance is required or the ability to obtain one.
