Hybrid Warehouse Clerk - Shipping/Inventory

Taylor Logistics, Inc. is looking for an experienced Shipping Clerk to support our overnight shift in the Welcome Center. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of shipments and working with our customers on-site while processing drivers in and out of the facility. This individual will also be responsible for standard work in our warehouse Inventory department after being relieved of their duties in the Welcome Center each morning. 

Reports to: Warehouse Inventory Supervisor

Shift: 12:00am - 10:30am

Responsibilities:

• Provides clerical support in the shipping of product
• Ensures that all inbound product is counted correctly and received in the system accurately
• Helps to identify that the seal information is correct
• Works with transportation to schedule trucks in an efficient manner
• Complete knowledge of company Good Distribution Practices
• Responsible for Food Safety
• Receives bills from drivers and place on dock doors for loading
• Maintain acceptable loading times of outbound trucks

Requirements

Requirements include:

High School diploma or equivalent

High attention to detail is a must

Team player and motivated by team accomplishments

Previous shipping clerk experience

Great communication with drivers, team members and managers

Computer skills with Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Systems and/or Synapse Warehouse Management is a plus
