Maintenance Co-Leader

Overview: 

Lead the development and execution of building maintenance projects and systems for both new and existing stores. This role requires close collaboration with Store Development leaders, store teams, contractors, suppliers, architects, and engineers. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Facility and Vendor Management
    • Collaborate with Corporate Campus and Store teams to uphold and elevate building standards and operations.
    • Build strong relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and vendors.
    • Source, negotiate, and manage contracts and bids to secure the best outcome.
    • Oversee facility maintenance and preventive maintenance programs, developing long-term plans and best practices.
    • Act as a key liaison between our store teams and maintenance partners, sourcing and negotiating contracts to achieve the best value and quality. 
  • Building & Project Oversight
    • Monitor Building Automation Systems (BAS) for trends and troubleshoot issues.
    • Develop and manage budgets and timelines for maintenance projects.
    • Act as a key liaison between our store teams and negotiate contracts to achieve the best value and quality. 
    • Conduct store visits and inspections to ensure quality work and adherence to standards.
  • Communication & Professionalism
    • Maintain open communication via daily email and phone calls, responding promptly to all inquiries.
    • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, working effectively with a wide range of experience levels.
    • Show initiative, good judgment, and a sense of urgency in all tasks.
    • Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance.
    • Keep all work projects organized and current.
  • Travel & Availability
    • Travel on average of 40 nights per year for store visits, new store setups, trade shows, and vendor meetings.
    • Be flexible to work an average of 45+ hours per week, with availability between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and potential for work on nights and weekends as needed.
    • Maintain status as an approved company driver.

Education & Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree in Project Management or Business related field preferred; and 2-3 years of leadership experience. This position requires the ability to move to Fargo, ND. Experience with Autocad, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Gmail, and Building Automation Systems is preferred, but not required. 

 

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation

Medium workExerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
