The Regulatory Analytics Manager is responsible for gathering health plan data and converting it into report deliverables that are required by the State of Texas. This involves collaborating with individuals across the whole organization, as well as software vendors and the state itself. The Regulatory Analytics Manager optimizes the use of current technology and is responsible for evaluating and developing new technology methods to accomplish health plan goals. The Regulatory Analytics Manager performs extensive training and development to the team, ensuring all employees are able perform at their best. The Regulatory Analytics Manager's role will involve identifying and delegating tasks, approving time off and work with the Director of Analytics in producing performance evaluations of assigned personnel.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE - Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying.
Knowledqe of: The job requires the ability to analyze systems, procedures, data, and draw logical conclusions; design, test and document, utilize vendor provided software; think logically in abstract symbolic terms; communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Including providing technical information in non-technical terms; provide instruction and training to end users; maintain detailed and accurate records; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of the work; Strong organizational skills and ability to successfully manage concurrent assignments. The information produced is for enhancing business/clinical processes. The successful candidate should have working experience with principles and practices of data modeling and database design; keeping up with new trends and developments in the field of information systems technology; technical troubleshooting, analysis, and problem solving in an enterprise environment. Preferred candidate will have healthcare industry or related experience, prior experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Services (including SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, and SSDT),
VisualStudio, PowerBl, QIik Sense/QIikView, SAS and other business intelligence tools. Preferred candidates will possess advanced T-SQL knowledge, including the creation of tables, views, stored procedures, and functions; and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, PivotCharts and PowerPivot. Experience strongly desired in FreshWorks Freshservice, Azure DevOps and Microsoft Sharepoint.
