Boulder County Clerk and Recorder's Office Department is seeking to hire multiple Bilingual Motor Vehicle Title Clerks. The Clerk and Recorder’s Office is proud to serve our community through three divisions: Motor Vehicle, Recorder, and Elections. The focus of Motor Vehicle is titling and registering all vehicles in the county and issuing disability placards. Our 45 team members work in three locations—Boulder, Longmont, and Lafayette.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is a great teammate, and can balance friendly and accurate service with adherence to compliance of statute and rules. You should be comfortable with data entry, pay close attention to details, be able to quickly learn and apply complex rules, and maintain a commitment to engage with a diverse group of people including the public and co-workers with the intention to listen and foster greater opportunities for equity and inclusion.

These are full-time, benefited positions that will work Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 5:30pm. These positions will work out of 1750 33rd St, Boulder, Colorado; 1755 S Public Rd, Lafayette, Colorado; or 529 Coffman St, Longmont, Colorado. Under Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines, these positions are non-exempt (eligible for overtime).
Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.
Hiring Salary Range: $50,004.00 - $55,506.00 Annually
Tentative Hiring Timeline:
New employees receive an 80-hour bank of vacation at the time of hire, in addition to 8 hours of both vacation and medical leave accruals each month (Must not have been employed at Boulder County during the 12 months prior to re-hire date to qualify). Boulder County offers bountiful benefits, including pension contributions.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Boulder County is looking for well qualified candidates to fill our positions. Any combination of relevant education and experience is encouraged. In these positions, we are looking for a minimum of a high school diploma, or equivalent and 2 (two) years of office experience.
Additional related education may count towards required experience.
