Responsibilities
- Leads and motivates a high-performing and experienced sales team, who has delivered world-class growth year-on-year
- Through coaching, utilises trusted sales techniques and industry knowledge to help the sales team to deliver results
- Lead client engagement by developing and managing relationships at the middle management and key decision maker levels for large and medium customers within the consumer, medical & information technologies industries
- Manages sales transaction pipelines and forecasting and hold sales staff accountable for assigned sales targets.
- Demonstrates expertise and understanding in latest market developments and trends to drive go-to market strategies.
- Manages the performance of direct reports by developing accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing career development plans, feedback and guidance
Qualifications
- University Degree in a related discipline + in the region of 8 years’ overall sales experience.
- Proven sales leadership experience, with the ability to coach, mentor and motivate your team to high performance levels.
- Strong customer-focus, with the ability to communicate effectively both virtually and in-person to a range of stakeholders
- Experience in selling Testing, Inspection & Certification services would be highly beneficial.
- Experience of selling within the cyber security space would be highly desirable
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
- Open-minded, commercial person who can bring innovative, fresh ideas to our sales organisation.
- This a remote position, but the expectation is for the Sales Manager to visit the Basingstoke office once per week.
