This is a remote job with a focus area of our corporate facilities in Denver, CO or Chicago, IL
Job Responsibilities:
NAV System Administration
- NAV Application server management - setup service tiers to connect to LS Retail, NAV back office, and API consumers for e-commerce purposes
- Applying new certificates, new licenses, or settling up new service accounts
- Setup and configuration of new servers/VMs
- Job and Job queue management - automation, data processing, data replication between master and local companies, purging and/or archiving of data.
- Monitoring failures or error logs and taking any necessary actions to remediate
- Coordinate and execute non-production and production deployments using NAV Development Environments and Object Designer
- Testing and deploying LS NAV and LS Retail product upgrades
Retail Systems Analysis
- Act as the subject matter expert for retail systems, and be the go-to individual to consult other members of IT or business teams in current system functions or behaviors, as well as forward looking capabilities
- Work collaboratively with the retail operations team, the manufacturing teams, and other business stakeholders to deeply understand, document, and manage business processes
- Setup New locations, stores, terminals, machines, user profiles and screen configurations for the Point-of-Sale (POS)
- Tier 2 support for any retail or cultivation issues with the application
- Support any ongoing development and configuration for the retail and cultivation modules - new buttons, functions, automations, label changes, UX/UI changes, etc
- Review and test new features, functions or custom development items from external vendors or other team members
- Report creation and maintenance
- Data management and upkeep to ensure high levels of data quality and usability
- Support of APIs and integration points with other up/downstream systems (i.e. Adobe Commerce); troubleshooting any issues that arise, changes to the structure, etc
- Meet and review scope and expectations with business stakeholders to ensure the spec meets their needs and solve their problems
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years of experience with LS Retail
- At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV experience
- Previous operational experience working in a Retail environment in a technology or consulting capacity
- Experience with DevOps process and writing code in CAL, Powershell, and similar scripting languages
