About the Role

As the Director of Partnership Sales, you will be instrumental in forging new strategic partnerships and expanding our presence across diverse lending verticals. You’ll play a pivotal role in identifying and cultivating relationships with banks, credit unions, non-bank lenders, and other financial institutions, leveraging Figure’s innovative lending solutions to unlock new revenue streams. This role offers the chance to shape partnership models, develop compelling sales strategies, and position Figure as a leader in lending-as-a-service, all while working at the forefront of fintech innovation.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop sales opportunities and create actionable plans to drive partnerships across prospective partners in multiple verticals, with an emphasis on diversification in the near term. Potential partners may include banks/CUs, non-bank lenders, servicers, home improvement lenders, construction companies, and other consumer opportunities (eg. Personal loan lenders) where Figure’s products could be beneficial
  • Assess the different types of partnership models that could be offered (Correspondent, wholesale, co-marketing / affiliate, Lending as a service) and create materials outlining the mechanics of each partnership type
  • Understand the value proposition of Figure’s offering to partners, implement and ensure ongoing updates to the Figure pitch book and website, taking into account different types of relationships and evolving market conditions
  • Create a framework to drive visibility including including social media and posts and press releases related to partnerships to drive industry awareness about Figure and its products
  • Establish a CRM system for prospective partners, maintain detailed updates of all interactions with status, contacts, dates of conversations, follow-up and next steps
  • Create management dashboards on pipeline and submit activity reporting on a regular basis, tied into future volume projections. Partner with Ops and other volume-dependent departments to ensure proper staffing
  • Maintain data room and due diligence materials for WL partners and ensure materials are up to date
  • Create and negotiate term sheets with partners, including economic and legal documentation of key provisions and volume expectations
  • Create and present demos of our product to potential partners and develop videos 
  • Seamlessly hand off partner to the onboarding and product teams to ensure critical milestones are met related to launch of partnership

Salary

  • Compensation Range: $130,000-$170,000/yr
  • Quarterly 25%bonus target
  • Equity stock options package
  • This is the compensation range for the United States, actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience, location, or evolving business needs
