Job Summary:

Our internship program here at Polar Semiconductor presents students with a significant opportunity to grow their professional skills through hands on experience alongside experienced professionals with years of experience to accelerate your growth and expand your working knowledge in a live manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform duties as defined by the Industrial Engineering Manager that will focus on operational efficiency and manufacturing improvement projects. Work closely with the Industrial Engineering, Operations, Process and Maintenance Engineering teams to accomplish your tasks.

Throughout the course of your internship, you will have projects and tasks that include:

· Capacity studies and reports on key toolsets to drive modeling accuracy

· Labor studies and potential improvements that will affect operational efficiency

· Fab observations and identifying operational opportunities

· Utilize software available to you to solve complex problems (Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Python, etc.)

· Present to Senior leadership on the accomplishments / learnings you have gained through your summer internship

Qualifications:

· Degree Requirement: On pace to graduate between (December 2026 – May 2027) pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering / Industrial and Systems Engineering

· Skills: Statistical Analysis, Programming Basics, Optimization techniques

1st shift

The Summer Intern hourly range for this role is $25.50 - $32.20 per hour. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
