About the Job
Create assortment strategy for Women’s Tops class or subclass(es) based on analysis of both our internal metrics, competitive landscape, consumer insights and macro trends. Deliver assortments that support key brand and cluster strategies while achieving financial targets
Partner with planner and allocator on weekly business reviews, open-to-buy management, and plan revisions to achieve financial goals and strategic objectives
Analyze weekly and monthly product performance, partnering with Planning & Allocation and Sr. Merchant to identify risks and opportunities; determine and drive short-, medium-, and long-term actions to optimize opportunities and minimize risks
Prepare for, attend, and present during Milestone Meetings including Briefs, Hindsight, Sales Launch, Assortment Reviews, Product Reviews, and Investment Reviews.
Engage and partner with Global & Cluster Merchandising teams to ensure alignment and influence Merchandising Strategy; ensuring USCA Women’s tops needs are me
You will report to the Senior Merchant of USCA Women's Tops.
About You
1+ years of experience working at an apparel manufacturer, retailer, or marketer
Bachelor's degree in related discipline
Knowledge of merchandising and design trends; ability to apply that knowledge, connect the dots and create product assortments that win in the marketplace
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload while delivering on commitments
Understands role and expectations and contributes vigorously to the execution of plans
ability to effectively collaborate and partner with team members and cross functional partners
Understands financial measurements including sales, gross margin, inventory turn, ST%, weeks of supply, their impact on the business and how to impact them
Strong knowledge of the customer and categories under management with a passion for both product and consumers
Curious and open to continuous improvement.
Strong knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $68,900- $91,900 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
