As a Senior Talent Partner at Banyan Software, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing talent strategies that align with the business goals of our Developer Hub and broader portfolio companies. This is a high-impact, strategic role that requires strong advisory capabilities, deep market intelligence, and the ability to influence and guide senior stakeholders. You will not only lead end-to-end hiring efforts but also serve as a trusted partner to leadership, using data-driven insights and a consultative approach to drive hiring decisions and talent strategy.

You will be based in the Chennai office (Guindy) and typically work from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST, with flexibility to adjust and support based on business needs. This role is highly flexible and offers hybrid work options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the full-cycle recruitment process for leadership and niche technical roles, from intake through to onboarding.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing and recruitment campaigns tailored to business priorities and market dynamics.
  • Partner with senior leaders to understand workforce planning needs and provide consultative hiring solutions.
  • Use labor market data, competitor intelligence, and sourcing analytics to influence hiring strategy and decision-making.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on talent acquisition matters, including diversity, employer branding, and workforce trends.
  • Manage and mentor junior members of the talent team, fostering growth and consistency in hiring practices.
  • Proactively identify pipeline gaps and develop long-term strategies to attract top-tier talent.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and operations teams to ensure hiring plans align with budget and headcount goals.
  • Champion a high-touch candidate experience and continuously improve engagement and communication throughout the hiring lifecycle.
  • Lead or contribute to strategic talent projects, including employer branding, referral programs, and market mapping.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, including at least 3 years in a strategic or business partnering role.
  • Proven ability to manage complex hiring initiatives and deliver on aggressive timelines.
  • Strong experience advising and influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional leaders.
  • Deep understanding of recruiting metrics, market intelligence, and the ability to translate data into strategic actions.
  • Demonstrated success in driving diversity and inclusion initiatives in hiring.
  • Experience with ATS platforms (Greenhouse strongly preferred), sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, etc.), and HR analytics.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and a passion for building great teams.
  • Well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Flexible in working hours to accommodate business needs across global time zones.
