Hybrid Lead Accountant bei Clarivate™

Clarivate is looking for an experienced candidate on Lead accountant position who will support the revenue team with the monthly financial statement close and reporting process. Ensures and reviews the accurate, complete, and timely reporting of all monthly financial information. Provides guidance and support to the other accountants in team.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• 4-6 Years of Relevant Experience 
• Prepare, review, and approve various monthly reconciliations ensuring accuracy in accounts.  
• Prepares and approve various monthly journal entries needed for reporting transactions that contribute to the monthly financial statements. 
• Analyses complex accounting areas to ensure proper treatment in accordance with GAAP. 
• Contributes to the successful execution of the Company’s internal controls in accordance with the SOX compliance program. 
• Collaborate with various functional departments to ensure the efficiency of accounting practices and procedures. 
• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of the monthly and quarterly closing activities with supporting schedules/explanations.

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer proficiency (Excel) 
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and Internal Controls 

What will you be doing in this role? 

• Oversee day to day operations and guide and support the team of colleagues. 
• Plan, delegate and direct the team’s day-to-day work to achieve operational targets or objectives with contribution to the immediate results for the team or department. 
• Communicate policies, practices and procedures within immediate area of responsibility to stakeholders within the team. 
• Identify and lead team-level quality and process improvement initiatives. 
• Provide input on staffing decisions for the team. 
• Establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls. Conducts financial close, reporting and accounting reconciliations, executes defined controls, and manages the financial reporting process, including the preparation of the external statutory reporting. Provides technical guidance on accounting concepts including compliance with accounting policies. 
• Coordination with external consultants and advisors, as necessary

Hours of Work 

This is a full-time role requiring 40 working hours per week based out of Noida, India (IST).
