What is this role?
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Intern to join Cirkul to assist in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data systems in the Quality Assurance Department. You will work closely with the QA team to test and validate data processes, including data collection, storage, and reporting as well as GUI development for all aspects of data management for the Quality Team.
What does an average day look like?
- Driving Results: Support the testing, validation, and creation of data pipelines, ensuring that all data processed meets quality standards and requirements.
- Taking Ownership: Document and report any discrepancies or issues found during testing, taking initiative to ensure they are addressed in a timely manner.
- Making Decisions: Collaborate with the team to identify areas for improvement in data processes and contribute to developing effective solutions.
- Cultivating Relationships: Work closely with the Quality Teams to understand data flow and assist in the implementation of quality assurance practices.
- Instilling Trust: Maintain a strong attention to detail and uphold data integrity, fostering trust within the team and with stakeholders.
- Customer Focus: Assist in gathering feedback on data quality from users, helping to ensure that our data solutions meet customer needs.
What background should you have?
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of data quality principles and practices.
- Familiarity with database systems and data processing tools; experience with SQL is a plus.
- Experience with App development or User Interface development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
