HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Review and process invoices for payment, verifying the correct authorization, GL coding distribution, and associating with the correct purchase order or contract agreement.
  • Communicate with Management, Project Managers and Vendors regarding any invoices, statements of work, purchase orders, or any other reconciliation requirements.
  • Prioritize invoices according to payment terms, discount potential and other applicable prioritization factors.
  • Completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
  • Maintain invoices, purchase orders, and agreement filings and associated documentation in a thorough, organized manner in accordance with established practices.
  • Prepare month-end accruals and other closing duties as required.
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • We are looking for someone with high degree of accuracy and attention to details.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and a Certified Accounts Payable Practitioner (CAPP) certification is as asset.
  • Proven working experience as Accounts Payable Specialist
  • Firsthand experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software e.g., Oracle, Coupa, SAP
  • Bachelor's degree in BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • Ideal candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience working in a similar role.
