Global Product Manager

Reporting to the Director of Global Marketing for the Interventional Technologies Platform is responsible for promotional marketing support for the Haemonetics Interventional Technologies portfolio to deliver sustainable growth for Haemonetics.

Responsibilities include marketing ownership and cross-functional business collaboration on the market insights, user needs and innovation delivery for both new and existing products through launch and in-market promotion to create demand for the platforms.

This role helps support the overall goal of the Haemonetics Interventional Technology platform to help our customers deliver lifesaving therapies for patients of over 200 immune deficiency-related and other orphan diseases around the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Drives new product development and product life cycle management programs in partnership with cross-functional colleagues for the Haemonetics Interventional Technology device hardware, embedded software, and product lines.

Collaborates with marketing management to develop and implement marketing plans including product objectives, competitive analysis, positioning strategies and forecasts.

Leads customer engagement, competitive analysis, and market research efforts to build understanding of insights and unmet needs, and translates this effectively into clear product requirements.

Builds productive relationships with customers within the plasma market segment to enable customer-centric insight development and support key account management team.

Creates and maintains business case analysis in partnership with Finance team to support short and long-term plans and budgets based on business unit goals and growth objectives.

Partners effectively with cross functional staff, regional marketing teams, and external agencies to plan and execute marketing mix tactics to launch new products and to effectively support existing in-market products.

Supports sales and key account teams with the necessary product/category expertise to ensure

appropriate positioning, value proposition, pricing and competitive differentiation. Provides direct sales support with customers as needed.

Participate in forecasting process with supply chain, finance, sales, and regional partners.

Engage with business development team as needed to support inorganic opportunity evaluation and pursuit

Ensures that all activities and operations are implemented in accordance with the highest ethical standards and are carried out in compliance with applicable company policies, regulations, and laws.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

8+ years of marketing experience; Successful track record with insight generation, product development, product promotion, and sales support.

Experience marketing software products

Device (medical or non-medical) with consumable(s) and / or embedded software experience preferred

Medical Device or other FDA regulated industry experience a plus

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND TRAITS

Knowledge and successful track records of driving both upstream and downstream Marketing principles and tactics to generate and sustain demand.

Skilled at discovering customer insights and translating customer insights into product requirements; demonstrated success with VOC and JOC techniques

Cross-functional team engagement, collaboration, commercial leadership

Branding, positioning, value proposition, supporting evidence (pre-market, post-market) development.

Marketing asset design & deployment (print, digital, video; advertising; etc.); creative agency collaboration / leadership

Ability to conduct competitive analysis

Ability to develop financial business cases and gain alignment on key assumptions

Creative, results-oriented marketer with a passion for insight-driven innovation and building world-class brands

Effective communication and writing skills; ability and confidence to influence without authority across multiple levels of an organization and with outside vendors
