Responsibilities:

• We are currently looking for a motivated Software Engineer with experience in writing tools and managing cloud and on premise application
• You will help build the Applied Genomics team’s expanding software platform, which is the base for our applications
• You will consistently encounter and tackle interesting problems:
  • large data sets
  • regulated environments
  • portability
  • scalability
  • cloud infrastructure and deployment

Requirements:

• 2+ year’s related Software Engineering experience
• Strong front end UI development using Angular 15+, Microfront end, AG Grid/Kendo UI, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong skills with OOP languages, such as Java
• Proven experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC.
• Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python
• Experience with relational database such as Postgres or MySql
• Experience with container based technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in Linux and commands
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud computing platforms;
• Deployment pipelines, network configuration, account policies, etc
• Proven knowledge of web technologies, and micro-services architecture
• Be curious and analytical, with a proven ability to learn quickly
• Be customer-focused, team-oriented, and motivated, taking ownership of assigned tasks
• Have proven ability to self-manage, as well as manage interdisciplinary relationships
• Have proven verbal and written communication skills

The estimated base salary range for the Software Engineer 1 role based in the United States of America is: $80,900 - $121,300. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
