As the Properties Project Manager, you will provide project management and construction administration support for assigned projects which includes multi-million dollar new branch builds, facilities enhancements, renovations, remodels, and relocations. This is a subset of the overall responsibilities which will include multiple initiatives as assigned by Facilities & Property Management leadership.
This role is hybrid (Tue through Thu on-site) located in either the Denver, CO or Kansas City, MO location.
How you’ll spend your time:
- Assist internal departments with space planning/efficiency efforts, exterior signage projects, physical property upkeep/appearance, and other general property related duties as assigned.
- Conduct periodic on-site inspections and host weekly job meetings during construction phase ensuring compliance with overall design & function, ensuring corporate standards are met for colors, materials, fabrics, furniture, security & equipment.
- Coordinate & negotiate lease and contract terms with corporate legal staff.
- Evaluate contractors’ ability to perform and help assess risk to the company and need for performance bonds.
- Manage overall UMB signage upgrades in coordination with key stakeholders.
- Manage overall UMB AV upgrades, new installations in coordination with IT.
- Negotiate with vendors, develop RFPs, and manage the bidding evaluation and negotiation process.
- Communicate, facilitate, and manage resolution to complex issues and challenging situations and personnel.
- Provide oversight and management of multi-million dollar capital budgets and projects.
We’re excited to talk with you if:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Project Management, or related fields and at least 3 years of Construction or Properties Project Management experience, OR equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- You have experience in analyzing and summarizing financial accruals.
- You have created forecasts and budgets.
- You have advanced level of design techniques, models, and strategic planning concepts.
- You have strong understanding and working knowledge of construction and building codes.
Bonus Points If:
- You have experience managing construction projects within the banking industry.

Compensation Range:
$76,520.00 - $163,900.00The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
