Business Process AnalystWhat does a great Business Process Analyst do?
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a Finance, Accounting, Project Management, Business Administration, or related background. You will have a chance to put your experience to work supporting our Operational Excellence team within Fiserv’s Core Account Processing Solutions (CAPS) business. This position will interface directly with sales professionals, business management, accounting, and finance to understand and deliver on opportunities to drive and accelerate revenue. In this role you must be comfortable working within well-defined processes and be extremely detail and quality oriented.
What you will do:
- Perform billing audits and manage related opportunity initiatives.
- Review new contracts and associated billing-related documentation to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Prioritize opportunities, build associated plans, and execute.
- Identify and operationalize end-to-end process improvements.
- Identify additional areas of scope and incorporate into program.
- Develop associated reports monthly and distribute to leadership.
- Track and report status on identified opportunities.
- Work with various business units to deliver on commitments.
- Weekly status reporting to leadership
- Identify recommendations to improve existing business processes and team productivity (and review with other departments to ensure alignment)
- Maintain and update procedures and procedures documentation as needed.
- Assist with periodic research or analysis to support business goals.
- Flexibility to work extended hours at month- and quarter-end, as needed to support financial close and reporting deadlines.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, accounting, or related field required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities concurrently, prioritizing as necessary, and setting appropriate expectations with management on timelines.
- Minimum of three years working knowledge of Excel and eCRM (Salesforce) required.
- Strong communications (written and oral) skills
- Ability to work with multiple levels within the CAPS, FI Group and other Fiserv organizations.
What would be great to have:
- Three to five years’ experience in contract administration, sales operations, project management or finance preferred.
- Experience working with complex datasets, financial models, and spreadsheets preferred.
- Working knowledge of the pan-Fiserv business unit structures a plus
- Working knowledge of financial, project accounting and billing systems a plus
This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New York or Washington.
