Promotes and provides proactive security services to effectively provide for the safety and welfare of students, staff, and visitors while on school grounds in accordance with the school security handbook.

Job Duties
Carries out all aspects of the School Safety Program including enforcement of the school’s pre-established disciplinary measures program as follows:
Monitoring and Patrolling
Student and Staff Interaction
Searches and Seizure
Documentation
Emergency Response
Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, and Other Characteristics

Minimum Qualifications: Education and experience: Must possess a High School Diploma or GED. Experience dealing with at-risk youth in a school setting and one year work experience in a similar or a comparable job function. Within three (3) month of hire, incumbent must successfully complete the following required training(s):
Terms of Employment: This position is treated as a full-time non-exempt position scheduled for 40 hours per week.
Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test and extensive Fingerprint and Background Check. Employee is Subject to Random Drug Testing and completion of a Background Check every five (5) years.
