Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design, implementation and verification of complex Linux Platform components sit at the center of your responsibilities.

• Assist in defining product requirements through preliminary research and concept exploration.

• Definition and review of architectural concepts.

• Linux OS image development and deployment of software updates.

• Hardware installation and initial bring-up tests.

• Act as a bridge for platform releases between development and production.

• Platform related quality assurance including bug investigation and triaging.

• Team-oriented task execution.

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

          

• Completed degree in (technical) computer science or comparable experience.

• Expert knowledge and experience with Debian/Ubuntu Linux OS.

• Good knowledge with Linux System programming languages like Bash, Python, C/C++.

• Fair understanding of Linux hardware platforms and kernel drivers.

• Responsible and independent decision making.

• Excellent communication skills in German and English.

• Knowledge of IPC, SystemD, mkosi, DEB package management, NGINX, OS Security, Linux UEFI Secure Boot technologies constitute an advantage.
