Phreesia is looking for a passionate Front-End Software Engineer II to join our growing team!
As a Front-End Software Engineer on our team, you will gain a deep understanding of the healthcare industry while working in a distributed team of talented software and QA engineers. You will learn about our users, customers and architecture while building, scaling, and maintaining complex distributed software products. You will be part of a team of Engineers, Architects, QA Engineers, and Product Managers, working to ensure that the products being built drive customer usage, are easily supportable by our customer teams, and are accurate, highly available, scalable and easily deployable.
You will be working on the implementation of products to improve Phreesia's ability to connect with patients and provide them with direct and relevant information to help them on their health journey. These projects will involve working with rules engines, integrating with third party APIs, building APIs and services, automating CI/CD pipelines, etc.
This is a fully remote position with priority given to candidates in the EST/CST time zones.
What You’ll Do:
Translate business requirements to customer-focused interface designs that demonstrate features
Ensure front-end designs comply with existing look-and-feel standards and can use existing UI kits
Design and implement web applications using Angular (primary) and React
Migrate pages in other technologies (e.g. Razor, unsupported Angular versions) to modern Angular UIs
Perform basic development tasks in C#, for example creating APIs that return mock data
Uses best-practices for interface design and development, creating clean, easy-to-maintain code
Performs unit testing at the page level
Develops and help maintain an automated testing system
Document design standards and ability to communicate these standards to the rest of the team
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
At least three years of experience as a full-time Front-End Developer, including at least two years of hands-on Angular development
Strong understanding of Angular best practices and design patterns required
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
Experience with unit testing front-end code
Experience with Git and/or similar version control systems
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design skills
Some familiarity with React
Nice to have: Experience with Jenkins and Razor pages
Technology:

- Microsoft .NET in C#, SignalR
- SQL Server, Mongo, Redis
- Cloud systems (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
