PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Support the development of business in Europe West by assisting Customers (OE, Distributors and End Users) on all commercial and technical aspects within a designated geographic territory or, by nature of customers.

Drive sales growth through account management, new business development and implementation of the sales and marketing strategy.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

• Develop business plan for each customer account, subject to be reviewed by the supervisor.
• Plan how to establish and maintain account relationships and meet personal sales targets.
• Support sales management and other sales professionals in developing new market opportunities in the designated territory or market.
• Manage all company interactions with assigned customers.
• Handle all commercial negotiations with customers.
• Search for new business opportunities, develops and executes a customer service plan to achieve sales profitability and growth.
• Provide direction for Timken activities related to all new channels’ development, sales and product promotions, collateral materials, trade shows, marketing communication, services development for customers and markets assigned.
• Develop strong communication and planning linkages with the appropriate global sales force, other industry segments and production plants, to ensure accomplishment of business plans and customer sales objectives.
• Participate in special projects/programs as assigned such as training, communication sessions within or outside of the company as well as major promotions, new product launches, new marketing initiatives.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

• Master’s degree in Business and/or Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience in industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills, dynamic, negotiation skills, customer and results oriented.

• Ability to influence across the matrix organization and drive alignment.
• Project management and problem-solving expertise.
• Language skills : French, professional English

OTHER INFORMATION

• Permanent position (CDI), based on a 218 day annual working time package
• Reporting location: Paris region (Bourg-la-Reine) – Commercial responsibility for a Central West region (Centre Val de Loire, Ile de France, Normandie)
