As a Microsoft Copilot Technology Specialist (Copilot TS), a technical seller your primary responsibility is to influence the technical decisions of customers towards purchasing and utilizing Microsoft´s Copilot technology. You will convince customers in achieving digital transformation using Microsoft 365 Copilot (incl. Agents), Copilot Studio and the extended Copilot ecosystem. Copilot TSs are required to guide and secure customers' technical decisions, identify new opportunities, and present these to the extended sales team for further pursuit.

This position offers the opportunity to sustain and enhance specialized technical expertise in AI, while actively contributing to the sales process. The role permits up to 50% remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Domain Expertise You will demonstrate Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Extensions through sessions such as Architectural Design and Proof of Concept sessions. You will present and apply architecture patterns for design, development, configuration/ governance. Additionally, you will apply sales methodologies and leverage partner/customer teams as needed.
  • Storytelling You will effectively communicate & document the narrative of Modern Work and Copilot's capabilities and the transformative impact on businesses and individuals.
  • Scale Customer Engagements You will be a trusted advisor and consultative technical seller with a growth mindset. Develop and maintain advanced to expert level AI skills discover, demo, and identify new sales opportunities & AI scenarios in business units at your customer base.
  • Build Strategy You will provide strategic, technical input based on Microsoft capability at the account level to contribute to strategy development. You will share competitive insights from customer sessions with colleagues and escalate competitive situations to influence compete strategies.
  • Solution Design and Proof You will win the technical decision and intent by gaining a deep understanding of a customer’s business and differentiate Microsoft in complex selling environments by sharing insights, reframing the status quo, and quantifying business impact that motivates customers to act. You will know when and how to escalate blockers, when to push back on customer objections, and how to unblock technical blockers with the customer.
  • Scale Through Partners: You will engage in partner sell-with scenarios by collaborating with partners to carry out technical engagement activities and acting as a source of trusted partner knowledge.

Qualifications

    • Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field and technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
    • OR bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field solid technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
    • OR strong technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
    • Fluent in German and English language
Additional

    • Technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, or related experience
    • Proof of Concepts: Experience creating Customer solutions, assessing business need and delivering AI Proof of Concepts (PoC)/Pilots for customers that lead to production deployments.
    • Cross organizational and functional collaboration skills to drive the optimal solution for the customer needs
    • Experience working in a large matrixed, global technology company
    • FIrst experience working on driving business transformation with AI
    • Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Microsoft 365, MS-900/ AI-900 Certification, Cloud Platform Technologies, Teams or Power Platform).
    • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably with AI-powered products or services.
    • Strong understanding of enterprise customers' needs and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer success.
    • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a track record of achieving sales goals.
    • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
