FARO’s Global Business Systems is seeking a hands-on, dynamic and seasoned Sr. Salesforce Business Analyst to manage, develop and support the FARO’s commercial business processes.

This role will be part of Salesforce CoE leading efficient delivery of business-driven Salesforce programs/projects and day-to-day (operational and tactical) business needs. The individual will focus on representing business requirements, testing, design, development and ensures Salesforce technology-based business solutions are successfully enabled.

This role requires a blend of leadership, business acumen, relationship management, business process understanding, project planning, project execution, application maintenance skills and is responsible for leading a full range of activities across one or more programs or projects with varying degree if complexity and scope, while partnering with internal customers and other stakeholders.

This position provides in dept commercial business processes expertise, while leading entire SDLC to address project needs involving commercial teams with an aptitude to successfully and timely completion of all tasks/projects under direct and matrix environment.

The role would need in depth expertise of Salesforce (Sales, Service, Pardot, Spiff, CPQ, Sales Planning, and other salesforce apps) business process & data analysis, and good understanding of data integration between Salesforce and SAP.

In addition, this role will be the part of FARO’s rapid growing IT Center in Porto, Portugal. This is considered a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2 days in the office per week.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • The Salesforce business analyst will administer Salesforce platform and lead the business requirement gathering and process alignment. This role will be responsible for the executing day-to-day administration, configurations, user accounts, roles, reports/dashboards, sharing rules, security, configuration, workflow rules, support, maintenance, documenting business requirements, UAT and deployments.
  • This role will work collaboratively with global Salesforce admins, cross functional & IT teams, will follow established SFDC change control process, maintain optimum service levels, to ensure consistency in Salesforce.com strategies and rollouts pursuing continuous improvement of business operations processes, using industry Salesforce “best practices”.
  • Creatively design, implement and perform regular data hygiene and maintenance aligned with Salesforce best practices, i.e. maintain database for integrity and accuracy including cleansing and duplicate record management.
  • Evaluate new releases of Salesforce and user change requests to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected departments/users and coordinate/collaborate with global sales admins to assess global impact.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and IT in large scale Salesforce initiatives (e.g: Salesforce deployment, CPQ, Partner Communities), including discovery sessions, process impact assessment, creation of requirement documents, UAT and go-live.
  • Demonstrate proficiency and own Salesforce platform administration (Sales, Service, Pardot, CPQ, Maps, Spiff, and other platform apps), sales process flow (Campaigns, Leads, Account, Contact, Opportunity) and new product launches.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in areas of business analysis, testing, dashboard, analytics, requirement gathering, business processes, security and data privacy. Establish strong working relationship Sales, Marketing, Finance and Business Operations management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years of related work experience Or Master's Degree with 7+ years of related work experience.
  • 7+ years of Hands-on experience in performing commercial business process analysis and deploying & supporting Salesforce platform, as Salesforce administrator.
  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Ability to assess the impact of enhancement requests across Salesforce platform (Sales, Service, Pardot, CPQ, Spiff, Sales Planning, Maps and other Apps)and its integration including all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, planning and communications skills are vital, including strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to lead discussions, present ideas to audiences of all sizes, and communicate/ interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a team environment & interact effectively with others by making customer satisfaction and solution quality/integrity high priorities for self and team, while meeting deadlines in completing various, multiple and changing business priorities, requirements, and projects.
  • Must be self-motivated, demonstrate a “can-do” attitude and be a "results" driven individual with a positive attitude for a timely delivery of agreed upon solutions.
  • DevOps, CI/CD (Gearset, Bitbucket, etc) and SFDC connector tools experience including mass data updates (e.g., Data Loader, Duplicate Check, Jitterbit, XL-Connector, etc.)
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & Visio, with advanced Microsoft Excel experience (pivot tables, macros, charts, complex formulas, etc.)

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Certified Salesforce CPQ Admin CPQ 201 or CPQ 211.
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator (ADM201 and ADM211)
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Sales planning, Spiff and Maps.
