What is the role?
- Triage, diagnose, and assign/resolve day-to-day issues/queries originating from business stakeholders and end-users raised through our case management system - ensuring that they are addressed in a timely manner.
- Take ownership of issues and diagnose and resolve either individually or with support of team
- Provide subject matter expertise on the: administration, functionality, maintenance and operational effectiveness of Workday system.
- Review existing configurations and suggest improvements and advise on best practice and ways to increase efficiency.
- Regularly report on any defects and identify root causes in order to provide resolutions.
- Provide project support, ensuring that deliverables are fully met through solid system/solution design. Evaluate impacts to other applications and related Workday services.
- Support twice-annual Workday releases, including identifying and communicating related impacts and enhancement opportunities.
- Support in developing new and improving existing solutions to ensure they fit business needs.
- Maintaining a repository of knowledge around Workday configurations/changes, including team training documents.
- Identifying and communicating system functionality changes to the business super users.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships across all relevant business areas to fully support the Workday solution.
- Be comfortable collaborating with system vendors in order to maintain alignment between suppliers and the Ocado business.

How you’ll do it…you will be
- Proven Workday experience in more than one core Workday modules, HCM, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Time, Absence, Talent, Recruitment, Learning, Expenses, Reporting, and Security.
- Experience in HR information systems, related processes and services solutions, and in-depth expertise in HR information system technologies.
- Aware of Data Privacy relating to HR data capture and maintenance.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in maintaining systems that support complex organisations.
- A great communicator – Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Proven record of setting delivery commitments and meeting expectations.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Solution focused – look to identify opportunities to improve processes.
- System experience in working as a technical 3rd line support team with an outstanding service mentally.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to follow tasks through to completion.
- Collaborative. You are able to work as part of a team in a constructive way.
- Decisive and analytical, with close attention to detail
- Experience of implementing updates/upgrades on business systems
- Ability to translate complex business interactions into technical configuration
- Supplier management skills – gravitas to engage senior stakeholders
