Job Title: Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) Project Manager

Location: Midlands

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Salary - £50,000 - £55,000 DOE

Job Summary:

The Project Manager will report to the Head of Build Programmes and be responsible for planning, executing, and managing projects related to network and wireless infrastructure.

You will be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. This is a hands-on role that requires both technical expertise and the ability to work closely with the business to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute and manage complex projects related to network and wireless infrastructure, including Access Technologies (wireless), Network Topography and Physical Infrastructure, BSS/OSS systems, security and other related technologies.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets that ensure successful project delivery.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, operations, and business units, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize project risk.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and vendor performance management. 
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and other project-related documents.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer requirements. 
  • Monitor project expenses and manage project budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including security and privacy policies delivery.

    Essential

    • 5+ years of experience in project management of network and infrastructure

    projects.

    • Project management certification, such as PMP or Prince2.

    • Knowledge of network infrastructure, design, and implementation

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

    • Ability to travel as needed.
