Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Supply Chain Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Terms and Conditions Strategy Department. This leadership role is remote with travel to Northrop Grumman Nationwide sites.

Position Description:

  • The Manager of the Terms and Conditions Strategy Department will be responsible for managing a team of 3-4 individuals and establishing the team strategy and workload required for the negotiation of Sector level overriding terms agreements, certain Northrop Grumman Corporate Enterprise terms agreements, and Program Specific Ts&Cs issues

  • Responsible for Interfacing with the Northrop Grumman Corporate Office on all terms and conditions related matters

  • Conduct Terms training to general Global Supply Chain (GSC) community, provide assistance on the different terms and Interface with Procurement and Subcontract personnel to foster strong negotiation strategies and provide targeted support on Terms negotiations

  • Provide input to Compliance Group on associated Work Instructions and processes

  • Develop updated training on Negotiation protocol and tactics to equip Buyers/Subcontract Managers with knowledge and tools to be successful in Supplier Ts&Cs negotiations

  • Become a subject matter expert on the Northrop Grumman Enterprise Terms and Conditions, as well as the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have Bachelor’s Degree with at least 7 years of experience, or Master’s Degree with at least 5 years of experience or High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least 11 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, subcontracts, procurement, contracts

  • Must have Procurement or Subcontract negotiation experience supporting U.S. Government Prime contracts

  • Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS requirements

  • The ability to obtain and maintain an DoD Secret level clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in supply chain, or Business Administration (MBA) with extensive experience negotiating with Suppliers and outside agencies in DOD environment

  • Experience presenting to executive leadership and preparing executive level presentations

  • Experience working in SAP or similar ERP system

  • Skilled at negotiating Terms and Conditions with FAR/DFAR flow downs

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance

  • Experience leading a team, process, and/or project(s) from conception to satisfactory completion

Salary ranges will be dependent upon where the position is based and follows our company geographic salary bands aligned with position. Specific salary offer for candidate selected will be commensurate with experience

Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
