Ensure that all enterprise system related incidents are tracked and handled in the shortest possible time frame for resolution and that solution steps are properly documented in the related incident to develop a long-term knowledge base.
Document service requests in help desk system, investigates problems, determines appropriate actions, discusses actions with appropriate stakeholders, implements approved actions, and communicates progress of service requests throughout process until resolution.
Assist in ensuring that the end users have optimum use of the system. Monitors and maintains enterprise systems security.
Responsible for documenting process changes and communicating effectively with users and vendors.
Perform technical implementation activities, software evaluations, and unit testing of enterprise systems and modules.
Analyze and advise management of workflow issues and data integrity problems and offers recommendations for resolution.
Follow, document and track change management and user authorization processes.
Test new system functionality, reports, and queries in test databases.
Provide input into improving system reliability, availability and performance.
Knowledge of data relationships, reporting tools, basic relational database skills, and organizational business practices.
Knowledge of the methods, procedures, and policies of Cumberland County as such pertains to the performance of the essential duties of the position; and principles and practices of managing an ERP System.
Skilled in use of popular and specialized computer-driven word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs; organizing workflow and coordinating activities.
Skilled in strong communication and presentation ability, initiative, and has a result-oriented personality.
Skilled proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Ability to analyze and define ERP requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environments.
Ability to develop, document and execute test plans of ERP solutions; and keep abreast of the functionality of the organization’s ERP services and systems.
