Job Summary
The Video Producer is responsible for creating engaging video content that effectively communicates the company’s brand and values to both internal and external audiences. The role leads video projects from concept through completion, including ideation, production planning, filming, directing, and editing. Success in this position requires the ability to work independently while also collaborating across teams to produce high-quality, impactful visual storytelling.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Develops and creates multimedia (audio/video) content for customer stories, internal company announcement videos, external promotional social videos, product marketing videos, recruiting videos, corporate training and other company-wide projects.
- Plans studio and field video shoots; scout, select and reserve shoot locations and schedule talent and crew.
- Operates camera and audio equipment in the field and in a studio environment.
- Records and edits video and audio projects. Duties include selecting program format for final output, capturing and importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music, voice-over and special effects, media management and archiving project media.
- Designs motion graphics and animated assets to elevate storytelling and brand presence.
- Schedules and selects the needed video and audio equipment for livestreaming, operate the streaming program and equipment and record the stream for future presentations and archival purposes.
- Adheres to and enforce visual identity and style guide standards.
Non-essential Functions
- Remains up to date with the latest video trends, techniques and technologies.
- Makes recommendations regarding the purchase of new video production equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager or other designate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in video production, marketing, communications, broadcast or multimedia journalism or a related field.
- 1-3 years of professional video production and editing experience.
- Audio recording experience.
- Computer graphic experience.
- Short form video content creation experience.
- Live streaming experience.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of additional post-production areas, including audio engineering, color correction and encoding web video.
- Ability to read, write and speak in English is required.
- All applicants must provide a representative portfolio of previous video work, with the applicant’s role specified for each sample shown.

- Strong storytelling skills.
- Artistic with a strong understanding of fundamental design concepts including color, typography and composition.
- Comfortable collaborating with others and working alone, taking a story from idea to final product, including story development, writing, recording and post-production.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain an upbeat and positive attitude under pressure.
- Ability to give and receive constructive criticism.
- Proactive, self-starter with a strong desire to learn every day.
- Excellent customer service skills include being courteous, responsive, accurate and competent.
