Salary Range: $51, 173 - $68,469

Benjamin School District 25 is seeking a dedicated ESL Teacher to join our team at Evergreen Elementary School.

Performance Responsibilities:

• Empower multilingual learners to build confidence and language skills

• Create engaging, inclusinve, and student-centered lessons

• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs 

• Use innovative strategies and technology to boost outcomes

• Collaborate with colleagues to support student success

• Communicate progress with families and celebrate growth

• Stay current with best practices in ESL education 

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois PEL with ESL endorsement (TESOL certification a plus)

• Strong English proficiency and communication skills

• Experience teaching ESL to diverse student populations

• Ability to design engaging, differentiated lessons

• Skilled at assessing student progress and tailoring instruction

• Flexible, collaborative, and adaptable in different settings

• Knowledge of current ESL teaching methods and best practices

Evaluation:
The position will be evaluated at least once annually (by May 15) by the building principal
