 Shield HealthCare is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for our Carrollton, TX  office. The primary function of this position is the supervision and coordination of warehouse operations and staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervises daily warehouse operations and staff 
• Responsible for assigning workload, priorities and tasking of hourly staff 
• Provides direction and leadership to hourly staff 
• Required to perform distribution clerk functions as needed 
• Ensures timely and efficient delivery of orders to assure customer satisfaction 
• Inspects orders to ensure quality control standards are met 
• Inspects warehouse facilities equipment; recommends changes in allocation of space and procedures to supervisor. 
• Ensure daily housekeeping supports a safe and functional work environment 
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, legal and other governmental agencies 
• Directly responsible for overseeing the safe operation of all equipment; processes of inventory as well as reporting and correction of all unsafe conditions 
• Takes active role in training of warehouse team to include participation in department safety program 
• Satisfy requirements of internal customers as necessary 
• Assists with orientation and training, when necessary disciplines department personnel 
• Will assist manager in completion of facilities maintenance requirements 
• Responsible for all receiving, inventory stocking and replenishment functions 
• Responsible for daily workload preparation and administrative functions 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma 
• 2 + years supervising warehouse, distribution, or logistics function 
• Working knowledge of OSHA and legal requirements 
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Must be certified and able to operate forklift 
• Ability to open or close business as needed
