At UniSystems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for an Cybersecurity Specialist to join our UniQue team in Belgium!

What will you be doing in this role:

  • Contribute to complex CIS security remediation activities.
  • Conduct IT infrastructure remediation activities in collaboration with service delivery managers and subject matter experts.
  • Apply approved security configurations (hardening settings) for IT infrastructure elements.
  • Advise technical staff on best practices for daily security tasks; develop and deliver CIS security awareness presentations for system administrators.
  • Plan, deploy, and configure a variety of hardware, software, and security products.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of computer and communication security, networking, and the vulnerabilities of modern operating systems and applications.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and proven experience with virtualization technologies (VMware), containers orchestration (Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (IaC)
  • Experience with implementation and integration of CIS Security protective measures in Active Directory based environments.
  • Experience with Cyber Hygiene and the Critical Security Controls for effective cyber defense.
  • Practical hands-on experience in system and network administration.
  • Ability to investigate and analyse complex scenarios and solve problems in innovative ways
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly and successfully articulate complex issues to a variety of audiences and team
  • A strong level of the English language is mandatory
  • An active Security Clearance of NATO Secret level will be required at the time of application
