Job Summary

The job of Instructional Assistant-Severely Disabled is done for the purpose/s of assisting a teacher in the supervision and instruction of severely special needs students; observing and documenting student progress; implementing plans for instruction; and assisting students by providing for special health care needs.

Required Documents

High School diploma or GED equivalent. Please attach to your application or be prepared to present if selected for a position. QUALIFIED APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO A FUTURE EXAMINATION. Applicants must meet the minimum requirements and have a passing score on written examination.

Requirements / Qualifications

All applicants must have: 1. High School diploma or GED equivalent. Please attach to your application or be prepared to present if selected for a position. 2. Six months experience working with children in a supervisory capacity, volunteer experience is accepted to meet the requirement. 3. A completed Employment Application. Resumes are not accepted in-lieu of a completed application. 4. Must check all task boxes on the Instructional Assistant Application to be considered for this Severe - Instructional Assistant position.

Salary Info

3 HOURS PER DAY, 5 DAYS/WEEK, 10 MONTHS/YEAR
