The MBTA is seeking one Engineering intern to assist the Railroad Operations (RROPS) team in gathering, analyzing, and reporting information related to equipment maintenance. The RROPS department manages hundreds of assets such as locomotives, blind trailer coaches, and control trailer coaches across multiple maintenance facilities around the Boston area. It will be the duty of the Engineering Intern to identify key information regarding systems, as assigned.The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a sincere interest in the transportation field and who can work full-time (40 hours / week) for six (6) or more months.
This position is for undergraduate students only, who have not yet received their Bachelor’s degree (graduate students will not be considered).
